MessageVault allows MSPs and other IT support companies to easily add email archiving as a new profitable service offering. With the MessageVault domain admin account feature you can resell email archiving services on a per-domain basis under your own brand.
How does it work?
The MessageVault system employs fully automatic real-time archiving that works in parallel with all common mail servers. Any email forwarded to the system will be automatically accepted and stored in it’s entirety with all message contents, attachments and characteristics (date, sender, recipient, subject etc) preserved and fully indexed. Most mail servers can be set up to forward a copy of all messages to a specified email address which has been mapped to the MessageVault system. This is known as “journaling” on MS Exchange for instance.
MessageVault administrators as well as domain owners or individual email users having an account on the system are able to access the MessageVault interface to retrieve lost or deleted emails or search, view, download forward or print messages or attachments.
